What makes my classes different to the others that are out there?

I have spent my pretty much my whole life involved with different forms of fitness. Many people who know me say that fitness truly is my life and soul. I have swam and taken many qualifications including some lifesaving ones. I have represented my high schools team for 1500m and long jump. I have danced and competed at world level. And last but by no means least I have had much success at martial arts including world titles for musical forms/ kata. I have been developing my own fitness to music regimes for years and they are what I practice on a regular if not daily basis when I was representing the Great Britain team. 

In short: who better to teach you martial arts related fitness to music than a martial artist with a flair and passion for dance? These 2 combine perfectly to provide a wonderful flow and rhythm.

 

Body Kombat / Kickboxercise

Our Body Kombat, classes use techniques from the range of martial arts I have studied. It's a cardiovascular workout, which means it gets your heart rate going and your lungs working hard. You will do range of kicking and punching moves, which will improve and develop your fitness levels. You will start to feel the benefits after a couple of weeks.

 

Conditioning classes

Our conditioning classes are designed to firm up your muscles, and usually concentrate on areas like the legs, bottom and stomach. Most of the exercises are carried out on an exercise mat, there will also be some upper body exercises too.

 

Aerobics Classes

Our Aerobics classes are great for toning muscles, burning calories and getting your heart rate up. They are usually set to dance music, which helps your motivation and co-ordination.

Ladies Classes

Our Ladies fitness classes are designed for ladies by one of the world’s top martial arts ladies. You can also feel comfortable knowing that the classes are run by a female instructor. The course will be a mixture of the above three and include conditioning, aerobics and our Body Kombat.

In all of our fitness classes you will have a fitness test on induction and every 3 months after you join the club.
